Updates for Final Action Dates by United States Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs – June 2017
United States Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs published June 2017 Visa Bulletin.
As per the June Bulletin issued, applicants having Final Action Dates may be eligible to file the documents as required by their Visa category with National Visa Center (NVC).
With respect to Employment Based Visas (EB), First Preference Priority Worker visa category, final action date for India has been pushed back to January 1, 2012.
While visa category EB2, Members of the Professions Holding Advanced Degrees or Persons of Exceptional Ability final action date as per June Bulletin has been published as July 1, 2008.
Similarly, for EB3, Skilled Workers, Professionals, and Other Workers, final action date as published is May 15, 2005.
Final Action Date for Employment Based EB5 Investor visa for Regional Center and Non Regional Center applicants remains ‘Current’ for Indian Immigrant Visa Applicants while for China it is June 8, 2014. This means that Indian applicants whose I526 petition has been approved may immediately be eligible to file the documents with NVC.
The applicants whose Priority Date is earlier than the listed Filing Date can collect and file the required documents for processing with National Visa Center (NVC).
